REDive restores colour in underwater diving photos and videos. These terms say what you can expect from it and what you cannot. They are short because the service is.
Who provides the service
REDive is a personal project, open free of charge to a private circle of family and friends. No company, no payment, no open sign-up: this is not a commercial activity, and nothing here is meant to look like one.

A beta among friends
Access is by invitation, free, and no payment method is asked for. The credits shown in the studio measure usage rather than bill for it: they cannot be bought and have no monetary value.
Beta means what it says: the service may stop, change, or lose data without notice. Do not use it as storage — your files are deleted at the end of every session, by design. Keep your originals.
Your account
An invitation is for one person. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and therefore for your password. Do not share it.
An account may be suspended if it is used to work around the limits below, to harm the service, or to process forbidden content. You may ask for yours to be closed at any time.
Your content stays yours
You keep every right in your photos and videos. You allow us only to make the technical copies needed for the processing you ask for — analysis, preview, correction, export — and only for as long as that takes.
Nothing else. Your images are not published, not shared, not sold, and not used to train any model. What is recorded is set out in the privacy policy.
You confirm you have the right to process the files you send, including in respect of any people appearing in them.
What you agree not to do
- Process unlawful content, or images of people who did not consent.
- Work around the technical limits, automate uploads, or open several accounts to exceed the ceilings.
- Defeat the downscaling and watermarking of previews to obtain a full-size image without going through the export.
- Try to reach another account's data, or to disrupt the service.
- Resell access to the service.

No RAW, no HDR video, no 360° stitching. These limits may move during the beta.
What is not guaranteed
The service is provided as is. No guarantee of availability, of processing time, or of result: the correction does not fix everything, shadows can keep some blue, noise can become more visible. Check one file before processing fifty.
To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damage. Nothing here removes the rights the law gives consumers, in particular in cases of gross negligence or personal injury.
Remote processing
Photos are corrected on the studio's own server. A video may be handed to a remote compute service, described in the privacy policy.
When these terms change
The date at the top is what counts. A significant change will be announced in the studio. Continuing to use the service after that announcement means you accept it; otherwise, close your account.
